TMD, Jaw Pain, and Headaches
Do you suffer from jaw pain or a locked jaw? Do you grind your teeth at night? Do you have headaches, ear pain, or facial pain?
Temporo Mandibular Disorders (TMD) commonly called TMJ disorders, refers to problems and/or pain in the joints or muscles of the jaw. In many cases, people suffering with TMD/TMJ disorders complain of headaches, pain in their neck, face and ear, difficulty chewing and grinding their teeth.
Many patients are not diagnosed correctly. If you have visited a dentist for TMD and are still suffering from jaw pain after using a night guard, we may be able to help!
We can help with a combination of custom designed splints, medications and physical therapy to treat orofacial pain. Our optimal goal is non-surgical treatment, with reduction in pain and return to normal function.
